dude you are going through way to much trouble to to use xplorer 360. all you need is a migration cable. you dont have to screw with your harrdrive at all. you just plug it up. lol. dont do what this video says lol.

Actually that’s reserved memory space. The 360 has only 512 MB of ram so the data from the disk partially gets loaded onto the drive, also the firmware takes some space too. Yes the dashboard is saved on a flash chip on the 360.

Dashboard isn’t stored on the HDD, its in a chip in the 360. If you doubt me, remove your HDD from the top of your 360 and then turn it one, wallah No HDD attached yet still a Dash.
i would think so, but you’d need to find out a way to get the dashboard onto it
